A friend had one of these, a 1 litre Popular Plus, and it was great.
Though getting a call at two in the morning and asked to go across town to fix a flat tyre because she had no idea that the spare tyre was slung under the rear of the car in a carrier or that the jack was in the engine compartment wasn't a highlight. But I taught her a lot in that car, how to best change gears, drive on the motorway, road etiquette, hand brake turns, etc...
Great little car and I'd have one as a run about tomorrow if I was offered one.
